One of the hardest things to break down and digest is cellulose. Our Cellulase enzyme is used primarily for the digestion of cellulose (plant fibre). Undigested fibre leaves a wax-like residue in the small intestine, adding to absorption challenges (a common problem with synthetic commercial fibres that people swallow to scour the colon). Cellulase is a gut wall transporter that helps transport toxins out of the body.
*(Note: Cellulase is the only enzyme that the body cannot produce; it must be obtained from food or supplement sources)
